Henry G. Otke Passes Away in Local Hospital Wed.
Henry G. Otke died at 4 o'clock last Wednesday afternoon in the local St. Joseph's hospital at the age of 42 years, 10 months and 24 days. The cause of his death was a complication of diseases. He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, 2 brothers, John and George, and one sister, Rose, who is employed in St. Louis. His father preceded him in death two years ago.
Deceased was a kind neighbor to all, and was a very ambitious young man, having helped his parents with farm work ever since his boyhood days. He was a devout catholic, attended church services regularly and was very well liked by all who knew him.
Funeral services were held from the local St. Dominic's church Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Msgr. Kaup, pastor, officiating. Burial took place in the St. Dominic cemetery.
