Catherine Richter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben J. Richter, died at the home of her parents, Monday morning at 4 o'clock, aged 28 years 1 month and 17 days, after a short illness of influenza. She leaves to mourn her loss her dear parents, 3 sister, Rose, Theresia and Veronica, and 5 brothers, Leo, who is in France, Joe, Alvis, Walter and Arthur at home, 9 aunts, 4 uncles and 45 cousins, besides numerous relatives and friends. She was born October 1, 1895. She was a member of the Young Ladies' Sodality and always was a good girl. She will be greatly missed by all and especially by her girl friends; also by Mr. and Mrs. Gaecrick in St. Louis, where she was employed for 4 years. Beautiful floral offerings were received from her friends. The funeral services were held in the St. Augustine's church Wednesday morning at 9:30, and the remains were laid tenderly to rest in St. Dominic's cemetery. We extend our deepest sympathy to the bereaved.
