Boulder native Mrs. Alma L. Brandon died June 17th, 1996, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. She was 71 years old.
Born in Boulder on Dec. 29th, 1924, she was a daughter of William and Katie Wurm Pigg. In 1942, she married James Robert Brandon. He died in 1973.
Survivors include two sons, Robert E. and Jack A. Brandon, Sr., both of Springfield; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Fields of Pensacola, Fla., and Mrs. Wayne Conrad of Shattuc.
A resident of Springfield for most of her life, Mrs. Brandon retired from Crysler First Loan Co. after 45 years of employment.
Rev. Gary Gilley officiated at services held at 1 p.m. June 19th at the Southern View Chapel. Burial followed in Oak Ridge cemetery. Visitation was at the Staab Funeral Home.
