Mrs. Morgan, more generally known as "Granny" Morgan, died on Friday, the 3d inst., at the home of her daughter, Mrs . Geo. M. Richardson, on Sugar Creek, at the advanced age of 90 years. Mrs. Morgan was the grandmother of our talented young friend, Thomas J. Richardson, who ran as democratic candidate for Legislature in 1868. At the time of her death she was probably the oldest resident of Clinton County, coming to the State about the 1810. She soon after settled at the old home on Shoal Creek, where she has lived peacefully with her family, and had been loved and respected by a large circle of friends for 57 years.
