Judy Matheny, 59
Former Keyesport resident Mrs. Judith A. "Judy" Matheny died at her home in Millington, Tenn., on Friday, Dec. 14th, 2001, at the age of 59 years.
She was born in lrishtown township on Feb. 10th, 1942, a daughter of Joseph and Lettie Smith Nordike. She married Ernest Matheny in Keyesport on Aug. 7th, 1960, and he survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Clayton Matheny of Atoka, Tenn., and T .J. Matheny of Brighton, Tenn.; one daughter, Sonya Matheny Moore of Munford, Tenn.; four grandchildren; five brothers, Dwight Nordike of Keyesport, Roger Nordike of Greenville, Roy Dean Nordike of Easton, Md., James Nordike of Tennessee Ridge, Tenn. and Bill Nordike of Knoxville, Tenn. and three sisters, Mary Shepherd of Greenville, Dorothy Koeller of Bethalto and Kathrine Eveland of Keyesport. Mrs. Matheny moved from Keyesport to Paris, Ill., in 1968 and then to Tennessee in 1985.
Rev. Tom Hoffmann officiated at services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18th, at Young Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial was in McKendree Chapel cemetery near Keyesport.
