Marjorie Means, 77
Carlyle resident Mrs. Jim (Marjorie J.) Means died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese on Sunday, May 25th, 1997, at the age of 77 years.
Born in Summerfield on Dec. 16th, 1919, she was a daughter of Al and Agnes Peters Hermann. She married Jim Means in St. Charles, Mo., on Nov. 11th, 1938, and he survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mary Zachary and Carolyn Isaak, both of Carlyle; five grandchildren and eight great -grandchildren.
Mrs. Means was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Carlyle where her funeral was held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday). Rev. Loy Schlote officiated with burial in Carlyle cemetery.
Visitation was at the Zieren-Day Funeral Home in Carlyle.
