Thirty-three year old Paul Frerker Platt died at his home in Carlyle on Saturday, June 10th, 2000.
A son of Jean Frerker and Dr. James M. Platt, DVM, he was born in Belleville on May 30th, 1967.
Survivors include his mother of Carlyle; two brothers, James Platt of Normal and Bill Platt of Tulsa, Okla., and three sisters, Mrs. Jean "Missy" Holtgrave of Carlyle, Mrs. Mary "Mimi" Rapp of Irvington and Caroline "Gigi" Platt at home.
Mr. Platt graduated from Carlyle High School in 1987. He was a factory worker.
A member of St. Mary's Church in Carlyle, Rev. George Mauck officiated at services there at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday), with burial following in the church cemetery.
Visitation was at Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle.
